The mission of the World Leagues Association is to represent its members on a world level with the various bodies governing football.
The World Leagues Association notably focuses the following matters:
- Football governance
- The rules of the game
- The integrity of the game
- International schedules including the availability of players within the context of international competitions
- Relationships between the clubs and their players and in particular employment relations
- The regulation of transfers
- The regulation of agents and intermediaries
